    Yes I'm hearing early 2019 in the earliest and latest is late 2019. If I were to upgrade before hand, I was thinking The 9700k. But I don't think it would offer enough performance improvement to justify the price.

    4 cores is my 6700k! lol

    honestly, ive had this setup for almost 2 years now, its done great, but im looking to get more speed out of the cpu, along with better case compatibility for the mobo.

    8 cores aren't enough for what? My 8700K will run any game out with plenty left over. I was thinking about the 9900K and trying to figure out why I need 2 more cores.

    Patrick ,I think if you upgrade go with a 8700k instead i say this because you do content creation a lot and you don't need 8 cores for that
