    Event ID 19 WHEA-Logger

I just received two Event ID 19 WHEA-Logger's tonight, "Reported by component: Processor Core"

Google led me to a Ten forums thread that seems to indicate this Meltdown and Spectre patch related. Has anyone else had these or know anything more about it?

Unstable overclock. They are not Spectre or Meltdown related.

I had the same event logged while I was testing different voltages for the 5.2GHz OC. Low voltage will cause the WHEA warning to be logged. Set the voltage to 1.300V and LLC 5.

I did quite a bit of googling and overclock was mentioned a lot but one person seems to think these can be a false positive and ignored. The other person seemed to think this warning is always related to memory or the CPU cache, possibly the cache clock not keeping up with the core clock.

Anyway I just finished installing Win 10 1803 and will be keeping a close eye on Event Viewer...

There was a version of Haswell microcode with Spectre patch released in the wild that generated WHEA. That is the only case I know of (I discovered this issue). You were probably picking up chatter about that. Intel withdrew it.
