ASUS Z170E Bios 3801 is up
Check your M/B web page. I'm aware that I am probably the only one that ever bought an ASUS Z170E, but all the Z170 models come out about the same time, give or take.

Strange, my EZ Flash says I`m up to date with 3703
I see no details for 3801, so I see no reason to install it.

Hi @AddRAM. Yes my EZ Flash gave same results, so I D/L 3801 and updated. The details on my M/B page were same as last time, improved memory compatibility and microcode update. Also, the last BIOS update also happened the same way. If you do it, check the dates. It's 4/20/2018 on M/B page, but the D/L when updated says March 14, 2018 in BIOS and HWINFO.
I'm glad you mentioned that about EZ Flash cause that had me a little worried, especially cause 3801 doesn't show at all if you try to update in windows. No problems or differences noticed.

Ya I downloaded it and tried that way, but it said the file was unreadable, so I left it alone.
It looks like my 3703 did everything your 3801 did.
So it`s staying as is :)
So how do you like the PG279Q ?
I`ve had mine for about 3 weeks

Ya I had 2 1080 Ti`s in there pushing the PG279Q, but I only need one, so I took the other one out. :)
Most games today don`t use SLI, Friday the 13th doesn`t and I play that ALOT :)
I play it on Epic settings and the 1080 Ti just chews it up.

I have a Z170 ROG Maximus board. There is no update for it. Just the 3703 that I already have.

Just updated my Z170 Pro with the latest, 3801. Using the Internet didn't find any update so downloaded it and installed that way.

The Z170 looks good :) And I ran EZ Flash again and this time it found Bios 3801 :)Last edited by AddRAM; 28 Apr 2018 at 02:15.
