Hi Cliff, it was the same address Worf sent his back to -

    Corsair Returns25-28 Enterprise Park,Middlebrook,Horwich,Bolton,BL6 6PE,United Kingdom,

It's been running great with the air cooler but it certainly ruins the overall clean look of the rig. Just got to keep my fingers crossed on the RMA with Corsair now.

Holy cow Cliff! That's pretty insane isn't it!
der8auer is working on a series on building a rig using non-conductive fluid for cooling, the secret is to use a fluid with the lowest possible boiling point, and multiphase cooling(capture evaporation and return it to the case/fluid tank), so heat dissipates faster.

Only problem is the fluid can eat at some materials like certain plastics after a while.

You may find a new cooler from corsair at your door even before you are informed your getting it. This happened to me.

Well it appears Corsair decided to screw me over. I sent them a h110i gt and they decided instead of sending me an h110i gt or an h115i (me being hopeful) they decided to downgrade me to a regular h110i instead.
    I won't be accepting that.

I don't quite know what they are up to but the replacement didn't come directly from corsair, instead it came from a pc company in the UK which I have used in the past called scan.co.uk
I didn't originally purchase the cooler from them though.
I can only guess that corsair themselves didn't have an h110i gt and didn't want to upgrade me so they looked around for somewhere that had old stock and I ended up with a non gt 110i

Ok, I could be way off here Paul, but looking at the spec's of both the H110i GT (no longer made) and the New model H110i I see the spec's are the same. Unless I am missing something. Description below....

Hydro Series H110i is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with a 280mm radiator and dual SP140L PWM fans for cooling that's far superior to stock CPU cooling fans. Liquid cooling simply works better than air cooling, and the self-contained design of the H110i makes it easy for you to protect your valuable CPU. For efficient cooling, bigger is better - it's simple physics. If your PC's case can fit a 280mm radiator, Hydro Series H110i will give you better performance. It's Corsair Link compatible, so you can customize cooling performance, monitor system temperature, and change the color of the RGB LED lighting.

That's sucks Paul but like Mike has posted the one you have received is the rebranded model of the one you sent back. Basically the same but with slightly better tried and tested components. I only got the H115i back as I sent them my H110i GTX. It would have been nice of them to send you the H115i but probably had no stock at hand. I would try your luck at contacting them to air your displeasure as you never know.

Thanks for the info Mike, I think you might be right, it just seems weird that they drop a couple of letters from it if it's the same. I guess the way they do things is a bit odd. To me if you are going to replace a model called a 110i gt you would make a v2 not drop the letters.

Thanks worf, I have already updated the ticket telling them I am extremely unhappy and won't accept it but I will see what they say and go from there.

I find the lack of communication from them annoying. It was sent on a fully tracked service with a 1hr delivery time slot but they didn't tell me so I had no idea it had even been dispatched and missed the delivery. I phoned scan and they told me the exact model number. So I haven't even got it yet and I am disappointed.

I suppose the bottom line is, if it does the same job then it's ok but it would have been nice for them to explain to me that this is a current exact like for like replacement rather than me being shocked thinking I was downgraded.

Ya, they`ve had mine for 5 full business days, and it`s still in the processing phase, good thing I don`t care

I haven`t read every sentence yet here Paul, but the H110i GT and the H110i are the same model, they dropped the GT and GTX branding quite a while ago.

So you are not getting screwed. :)

The cooler that used to be the H100i GTX is now simply called the H100i v2, but they are the same thing too.

I thought it was pretty dumb to put the GT and GTX labels on them in the 1st place.

The only difference with the H115i is the pump is a little better, everything else is the same as the one they are sending you. Plus the H115i cost about 20 bucks more.
