connecting multiple sized fans to one port?
So i am changing my pc build a bit (again) but this will be a final change (i hope). I am aiming for msi z370i itx motherboard with corsair 240 air case. I have been looking at the noctua fans for more silent with good performance in airflow. I am using a cooler master 240mm radiator cooler for my 8600k.
I will replace the stock fans from the cooler with noctua nf-f12 pwm fans as i did some research in best fans to use with radiator. I am going to use a pull configuration with this fan and already have a splitter for the 2 fans to connect in one port. Radiator will be between fans and case (the sandwich).
What i want to do is get 2x 80mm noctua nf-a8 ULN premium fans for the case and another 120mm (same as the nf-f12). 3 of these fans will push air out from inside the case. The 3 case fans will share connection on another fan port on the motherboard.
Any suggestions? Should i get the 80mm pwm instead of the uln just to share connection with the 1 pwm fan (case, not from radiator)?
After this is settled, i will install the phanteks rgb fan grills on the 3x 120mm fans and have them connection to corsair rgb port from the mobo. I know, pricey because i want the most quiet fan with rgb rather than having rgb ready fan that may sound noisey for what i am rebuilding.
