When they say "Updated Microcode for the latest Intel processor" do mean the latest CPU like the 9900KF or all of the current gen CPU's?
Yes, for instance 8700k and 8086k are still at microcode revision 96h - no change for them.

Enhanced security for AURA, lol. Was it a security risk in the first place?

Yikes does anybody still use this? It's been very problematic in the past for overclocking vs manual BIOS overclocking.

I use it for setting and selecting my fan profiles, as most companies bundle their fan controllers with the complete OC stuff instead of a fully separate app

For fans it's much easier than muddling around in BIOS on ASUS boards. With my old MSI board, the BIOS fan settings are alot better and less convoluted in setting up, but ASUS???

I run all of my case fans entirely from the BIOS using a 10K sensor wire and it works so well. I used to use AI Suite for fans also but after learning how to do it in the BIOS I will never look back. I can share some BIOS screenshots to help you set it up with Asus X-Hero if you'd like, it's not that hard.

Edit: In the BIOS you go to Q-Fan control. There you set your fan to either PWM or DC (whichever it is). Then you select a Q-Fan source which could be CPU, 10K sensor wire etc. Then you choose upper, middle and lower temperature and the duty cycle (RPM) at what the fans will spin at those temperatures.
