Just a side note, I betting there will be a BIOS update sometime in the near future too.

Hello Everyone I see that this forum has the most support for this Asus Z370 Maximus X than any forum. guys look like your doing a great job. I'm on a ASUS Maximus X Hero bios and 0802 has been rock solid. Is there a better bios would 1003 be better for memory stability wanted to push my bdie sets a bit.

If it has been rock solid for you I would not upgrade. Some upgrades are not easily reversed because they involve an Intel Management Engine update.

Thank you Geneo for the reply. What bios does the Intel Management Engine update. And do you need to match the Intel Management Engine drives with the bios like I had to do with the old rst drivers ?.

I am not sure what versions. Look at the release notes for each. They may tell you. No, you do not have to match IME drivers to firmware, though I imagine it is a good idea to have drivers > firmware.
