Done, check my delid thread... If the CPU was going to die would I know by now or do I need to stress it?
You would know pretty quick. Try normal use, things you normally do. Watch temps and then try a few heavy loads, games or benches.

Ah that's good, everything seems ok so far. Gave it a quick Intel XTU stress and 10-15 mins gaming, no problems and great temps! Will give it longer gaming session later.

Thanks. I was more nervous about insulating the four small contacts near the CPU die with nail polish, it's well accepted within the overclock community but not so much in the electrical world.

    AURA update
    No changelog shown
    Just install directions
I'm guessing the new version has to do with the Maximus XI(11) boards and that BIOS bloatware crap>>> Armory.

    Version 1.07.22
    2018/10/25
    AURA 1.07.22
Please follow the process below for installation, thank you
    - Right click on Setup icon, run as administrator (this will remove old versions and all of their cache data)
    - Reboot
    - Right click on Setup icon, run as administrator (this will install 1.07.22)
    - Reboot
    - Right click on desktop Aura icon, run as administrator (this will open Aura)
    - If devices are missing from Aura UI, hit the refresh icon

Always make sure mouse and keyboards have updated their firmware through Armory

    for Windows 10 64-bit

If you navigate to the Maximus Code XI or similar support page, you can find a new version of AISuite III 3.00.28. It works fine as far as I can tell with X boards. Only difference I noticed so far is the TPU tab has some BLCK overclocking knobs you can twiddle if you dare.

Is there any need to install the VGA drivers when we're using dedicated GPU's? Some people are also think the MEI drivers aren't needed, do you guy's install those?

    I install MEI.
As far as Intel integrated graphics is concerned, I don't believe you can even install them if iGPU is turned off in BIOS, as Windows cannot see it

Most newer motherboards, I believe, disable the integrated graphics if it detects a dedicated X16 card. As Cliff said, I don't think you can install the Intel graphics driver.
