    I was curious as to why ASUS was offering an old LAN driver(22.6.6.0) instead of a newer(or was there a newer), and went to Intel download for the Intel® Ethernet Connection I219-V and found version 23.2. Download Intel® Network Adapter Driver for Windows® 10

    Version 23.2 Release Notes

    What's New in This Release
    ==========================

    - Support for RDMA in a Hyper-V guest (NDK mode 3) on Intel(R) Ethernet X722
    devices
    - All tools and software utilities for UEFI 1.x have been removed from this
    release. Please update to UEFI 2.x if you need to use the UEFI tools or
    software utilities.

    The 23.2 is the tools in device manager

    But you might still want to run diagnostics and check settings...
    The drivers themselves remain 12.17.10.7

    I, and at least several others, get intermittent system freezes that last for for seconds with 16.5+ drivers (and maybe only on 1809). Had to go back to 16.0.2.1086 to eliminate the freezes. Hope this one fixes it, but I doubt as one person experiencing the freezes was on 16.7.1.1012. Anyhow, if you see these freezes you know what to do

    It is the driver, not LPM, which we all turn off.

    I've never had a problem or freeze, that's why I thought it might have been link power state/management.
    In BIOS I also make sure all ASPM is also turned off.
    My Balanced power setting is the same as my High Performance, with the exception, of minimum processor state being set to 5%.

    Well it must be system dependent, though we all have similar systems. Not asking for help on this one - rolling back the driver works. Just a heads-up.

    Alright thanks, and if I do see any freezes I'll mention it.

    Well I found a Der8auer Delid Die Mate in NZ, previously there were none. There are only a few units left so I think I should get one not knowing when they'll be available again. I'm still a little nervous about delliding my 8700K but I've had it 7-8 months and there should be no reason for the Intel warranty going forward.
