    How can you get VRM sensor reading when the board has no sensors

    Well here's what I see in HWiNFO. Maybe the manual doesn't mention the VRM sensor?

    Edit: You don't have the wifi model do you?

    I just did some more searching, and found out not all maximus x boards are equal.
    Even in the same series line.
    Some VRM chips have temp sensors and some don't.
    It appears the used different batches of chips, and this goes for the IX boards too.

    Cliff, try enabling SVID in BIOS.

    I have used it before(when not overclocking) and vrm still didn't showup.

    Good thinking from essenbe. I'd double check if it's not something in the Bios.

    @Cliff You run 1.232V on your 8700K? Is that the max voltage you give it? Wow that's low.
