BIOS version 1602 is out for the Hero, Code. Etc. You have to dig around a little to find it though.

8 core compatibility for Z370, Interesting! Guess that means an 8 core chip may be imminent...

1602 is working fine on my Code X. I did have to adjust my custom load line of LLC 5 with AC & DC slope of 0.2 to a slope of .18 to get the same Vcore at load. Might end up with .17.

I finally got around to updating my BIOS to 1602.
I just wish that with the HERO boards you could re-apply all settings from the saved .CMO(or even the .TXT ones) files

You should know your settings pretty well by now? I agree though, still a PITA!

It's not the OC settings that are a pain, it's the setting up intel TPM, switching to PEG graphics, turning off CPU fan monitoring(I use the AIO connector), switching from legacy/CSM to UEFI & secure boot and all that stuff that's the pain.

Well, soon enough there won't be any more BIOS updates for these boards, then we will complain about the lack of updates.

Unless there is an issue, the updates will probably slow down a lot until they end.
