    Surprised asus made bios default that way seeing MS has pretty much made support for win-7 unsupported on kabylake.

    Yes seems so
    Nice of asus to make it that way for people that want to install win-7
    Or does it just show bios from platform to platform are pretty much the same lol

    You can install Windows 7 in UEFI mode if you want to. But, it's a real trick to run memtest86+.

    Hi,
    I usually don't takes way too long to test
    I just do if I have issues with it with manual or using xmp profiles
    I did test my 3200C16 32gb's of it lol it took 33hrs for 8 passes :)

    Using the Maximus X Hero and a DELIDDED 8700K, he wants to see & show how well hardware protection(throttling and/or shutdown) works by removing the cooler while the system is running

    HI,
    Yeah I know my x99 has pretty good thermal shut down lol
    When my h100i gt went out and I put a hyper 212 evo on it and everything still worked :)
