I'm seeing only 1003 for your board amd my Hero(without the Wi-fi)
The new one isn't showing up.
All the more reason to wait for a while I think

The bios is 1101. It has the coffee lake 0x84 microcode with the latest Intel Spectre patch. I don't think it includes any other updates.

If you don't see it, try under different OS versions. Also try TB he is independent bios selection.

Seriously Asus support is so messed up. It probably go released early by mistake (who releases new software on a FRIDAY?). For instance, you can find it for Hero under Windows 7 OS.

    Windows 10 64 bit is still 1003:

That is what the 0x84 microcode is for, Intel published the patches they have and are working on for Spectra.

Because the microcoe in the patch

Because the micrcode in the BIOS is the updated 0x84 (for my Code X). You can see this in the BIOS, through HWInfo64, or AIDA64.

But how do you know the latest Asus Bios includes this patch? There doesn't seem to be any official Bios notes...

    Updated!

    And all settings reset.
I really hate how you can't carry the settings over after a BIOS update, even the ones saved to a USB

Interesting Cliff, because for my ROG MAXIMUS X APEX, when I checked just now, it reports that same bios update as a BETA release.
