Just did the bios upgrade 1101 and replaced all my settings (good thing I printed the bios settings last time). Ran stress tests and everything is working as it should. Hope it stays that way.

But how do you know the latest Asus Bios includes this patch? There doesn't seem to be any official Bios notes...
Because I installed it and it is 0x84 microcode. Also, Asus has been testing it for a while and the release notes say "microcode update". This is the only microcode update for this processor.

Have you noticed any stability problems with it Gene? When I installed the January fix, I had to raise my vcore .015 to be stable again. I flashed it back.

    Hi Steve,
I didn't have any stability issues when I ran 0x84 patched. I have installed the new BIOS and I just retested my 4.9 GHz OC and my slight memory OC and they are still good too.

I'm still going to stick with bios version 1003, as it is working just fine. And I see no release notes on what this Beta version does...yet.

Mike, it may be another fix. 1003 was supposed to be the fix as it changed the miricode. I saw several reports online that said it didn't fix it. I am assuming the new bioses coming out now are a fix. Our 1003 bios came out real soon after the vulnerability was found, probably too soon. I reverted back to 0901.

Then why does InSpectre report that my pc is protected from both ....??? I know you had an issue, but I don't see any on mine.
