    And all settings reset.
I really hate how you can't carry the settings over after a BIOS update, even the ones saved to a USB
Ouch! Yes I've been caught out there before too. Did you save your settings to a list file on USB? Time to get the printer working..

I know what settings I need to change, so it takes me about 5 minutes to set both of my BIOS profiles(No OC & 5GHz), so it's not a problem for me.

    No guts no glory
Besides, my USB stick has all BIOS versions, and you can always go back using BIOS flashback port by inserting the USB in the in the correct I/O port at the back.

Thanks Cliff, yes I know we can go back, done it a couple times in the past. But .....nothing wrong with this bios version, so I'll let you folks play with this new one for a while. :) Plus, I don't find any news on what this new bios fixes .....or if there are any improvements. :)

Not if your BIOS flash goes Bits up because of a bad BIOS or flash.
I was talking about the safety net these Maximus X boards have, for worst case flashing is all.
