Did that twice ...told me it installed successfully .....didn't do a thing Cliff....rebooted too even thou it never asked.

They haven't been updating the motherboard pages very often at all lately. Just look how far behind your Realtek drivers are.
On the forum it's 6.0.8703.1(todays release from Realtek, with UAD Nahimic integration for Sonic Suite) and on the mobo page it's only 6.0.1.8468.
By the way the 8703 drivers are awesome

But the same goes for all the other drivers.

New BIOS 2003 [31/05/2019] for ROG Maximus X Apex/Hero has just been released :

- Improve System Performance.
- Updated ME FW.
- Updated Intel commit for security.
- Updated RAID driver.

Guess what I'm doing tomorrow morning
