All the drivers installed fine by opening the ASUS setup icon except the Lan drivers. The setup icon would not open at all. I seem to remember a different way to install the Lan drivers but can't remember now of course.
Did you unblock the zip file for that one?

It unzips fine but I tried again using the unblock check box but the results are the same. Clicking on the Asus setup icon does nothing. Look in another Asus forum and others having the same issue. I was going to try doing it manually by going into the device manager but don't see the Lan driver there.

What does the updated driver date say? Mine says 5/2018, but I don't know what it said in the beginning. It doesn't look like the drivers updated.

The date doesn't matter that's just the creation date.

What counts is here in the events tab as install date:

I have the same as both of you. I'm confused now. Guessing it didn't update? Except I do have an install date as Sept 29th in the events tab.

    Ah ha!
    I know why!

The update is for NAHIMIC not the Sound driver!

That's the UI & other stuff: Nahimic Audio Solution for gaming and multimedia – 3D sound

Nahimic is an audio software integrating all best in class processing technologies for managing the sound quality of your computer. Nahimic ensures the users to always have the best audio quality whatever the content you are playing and on whatever output device (internal speakers of your laptop, regular headphones or external speakers).

Nahimic 3: patch notes | Community help shares
    1.2.0 (13 August 2018)
    Improvements
    - Global performances and stability have been improved
    - When needed, because Nahimic is launching and not ready to be used, a loading page now appears to invite you to wait for a few seconds before you can use the software
    - A warning message appears in Nahimic if the driver or the system do not support the app
    - It's now possible to definitely deactivate Nahimic features on the current default digital devices (and go back to their original configuration): this option is available in the settings page with a "Remove" button
    UI
    - The default size of the App has been reviewed to avoid any black line at the bottom of the page
    - Volume slider and "Try" button work correctly after re-activating a disabled device
    - Unplugged devices are not displayed anymore in the popup to re-activate a device - AEC and Beamforming are synchronous with Realtek Audio Console
    Fixed issues
    - Recordings with Player.me output sound correctly - SimCity runs correctly if Nahimic is launched
    - Nahimic effects are available on Groove Music and Edge

I registered only to show that everything is working perfectly, remembering that in each installation icon of the asus needs to be done as administrator to install correctly, however the lack of the realtek icon next to the clock will make me use in a different way, there is some way to put this realtek icon there?
