ASUS really sucks at getting the latest ME Firmware update.
Using ME analyzer it shows 2402 is NOT the latest ME firmware.

Sucks that I have to flash the bios in order to get the microcode since MS is really behind on releasing the updates via the windows update route. I preferred doing my own ME, and microcode because I hate doing bios updates if it aint broke. Still, the CSME version detection tool shows me as not vulnerable, but that may not even consider microcode. not sure. Latest version of the CSME tool on intel site is from june too, so there could be more to come.

So I updated to the new BIOS version today, always fun resetting up the BIOS, and wondering I I forgot to turn on or off something.
Also installed the latest ME firmware driver MoKiChU posted for Z170/Z270/Z370 to 11.8.81.3781: [FIRMWARE] Intel ME (Z170/Z270/Z370)
Because of the Intel AMT/ISM security advisory INTEL-SA-00404 that has been resolved:
INTEL-SA-00404Affected Products:
Intel® AMT and Intel® ISM versions before 11.8.79, 11.12.79, 11.22.79, 12.0.68 and 14.0.39.
Note: Firmware versions of Intel® ME 3.x thru 10.x, Intel® TXE 1.x thru 2.x, and Intel® Server Platform Services 1.x thru 2.X are no longer supported versions. There is no new general release planned for these versions.
Recommendations:
Intel recommends that users of Intel® AMT and Intel® ISM update to the latest version provided by the system manufacturer that addresses these issues.
