All software overclocking will do that. It almost has to, which is why we all recommend manual overclocking.

    Cheers!

Getting ready for build tomorrow, run final backup etc. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions once this up and running.

Does anyone know if these new DDR4 Dominator Platinum's have Corsair Link monitoring built in? There is no pin for a monitoring cable such as on my DD3 Platinum but the package say's Supports CORSAIR LINK technology for memory performance monitoring...

What would you want it to do ?

I have Corsair Link software and Corsair memory.

I just put the light bars on the memory, didn't think there was anything more you could do.

The spec page says it will monitor the temperature.

Dominator Platinum modules work with the Corsair Link system for temperature monitoring

The ram shows up in Corsair Link but not the temp.

I never had the Link cables to monitor my DDR3 Platinum's. I notice the DDR4 modules don't have that plug anymore. So if temperature monitoring is built in now that's sweet!
