Great advice Geneo, on the OCing part I would recommend you search guides. Dont use AI software, use the BIOS
Don't use Asus AI suite, were having all kinds of issues some are really serious. Asus is not even trying to keep up with WU. Everything you need is in the UEFI

I don't think any of us are using the AI suite.

Mine was overclocked from a Debauer you tube video he did using my exact board, however he overclocked a lot higher than I wanted too, but I used his as a baseline. I am still trying to lower some settings as I would be happy with a 4.8 or 4.9 OC.
I wasn't saying not to do it. I don't, but that's just me. I set mine to 100.3 which isn't enough to hurt anything but is enough to not get a 4.996 GHz when I'm trying for 5 GHz. I was only saying be aware of what else is going on too. I watch Debauer too. He is a professional overclocker, I'm not. But he has some good ideas and explains some settings pretty well. I take his settings as a guideline. Any overclocking puts stress on hardware. You just have to decide for yourself what you want to do and what you want to try. As I said before, a lot of people do the base clock overclocking and it works out real well for them. I'm not saying it's wrong, just that it does other things as well as overclock the CPU.

I just changed some settings to 100.3 and lowered my voltage more. Ran some stress test and my temps are lower. I might stick with this for awhile to see how it goes. I want to OC some but not anxious or care about high OC.

Your core voltage (CPU Core/ Cache) is set to auto, which to a bios means 'take all you want'. You need to set it to something to give it a limit.
I set it to MANUAL and have spent the last hour trying to find where to go to set the voltage - good grief -

Don't use my voltages, this is a 5.2 OC.

@essenbe - thank you for your patience -
This is the same "page" in your pic -
Only thing I changed was the AI Overclock setting from AUTO to MANUAL - that gave me the 1.344V reading
CPU-Z shows the same - I'm going in the right direction anyway...
Back to the same ol' deal - where\how do I enter the voltage I want - ex: 1.25

Where it says CPU Voltage override if I remember correctly. Have to manually enter it.

    Hi,
Yeah input 1.25 and hit the enter key
    It will apply the changes
Might show as a yellow number not a problem

If you entered 1.4 it would show as a red number = is a problem
