Thanks Mike, temps getting boarder line now, but nice "low" voltage.
I said before the Maximus X Hero has good VRM's(according to online reviews), but this is surprising me a lot.
Actually, your board is surprising me a lot too today. Great run, and you got one hell of a chip too.

5.3 is it for the Cinebench benchmark.

Everything else freezes at 5.4, I have even gone as high as 1.48V, and played with LLC, tried setting cach ratio back to Auto, but I don't want to push too many volts and degrade the CPU.

I can boot into and run Windows(at least the UWP apps) with 5.5GHz, but benchmarking(even CPU-Z validation) freezes the system.

But not bad seeing I'm using a Z370 board, I guess

Your dam chip is doing VERY Well Cliff !!!! Not many chips can reach 5.5 and be stable, @5.4 mine is about 85% stable. I've never even tried for 5.5, I can run at 5.3 all day.

Can you do me a favor and do CB15 at 4.25GHz to compare with my Ryzen ?

It took me a bit to adjust the baseclock to get to 4.25 as I need to set the multiplier first to 42 even, and of course that also effects my RAM speeds

Tnx. Cliff, looks like those chips are meant to run at high clocks and come alive at 5GHz+. Here's my ryzen at similar settings:

Unfortunately that's all she got. At 4.3GHz is not going to pass CB15 every time. Hope next Ryzen3, coming this spring, is going to go over 4.5 - 4.6Ghz.
