Thanks Brian. It might get here tomorrow, but I'll wait until the weekend to install it, as I want to uninstall my retail key before swapping, I had a close call last time I swapped hardware and tried the key troubleshooter, so I want to do it the old fashion way.

Plus I need to take the time to set my BIOS up for the swap(make sure not OC is set up).

You should not have to worry about any activation issues, you are only swapping a CPU, not a motherboard.

Make sure you have the latest Bios, and just set your Bios to Defaults before you do the swap.

In fact, make a profile of what you have now and save it in the Bios.

Hey everyone. I have a Ryzen R7 1700 non X one for now. Is it worth upgrading to R7 2700X or there is no difference in everyday life? Any suggestions?

Depends on your "Everyday life" but I switched from 1600x, to 1700x to 2700x and it's worthwhile for me specially when I switched to x470 MB and 3600MHz memory. Now everything is working at full speed and mostly automatically. CPU boosts to 4.25 - 4.3GHz and RAM works at full 3600MHz speed which is a dream comparing to old setup.
Where old setup had to be overclocked and fought harder to get full performance, now it can be achieved and overachieved virtually automatically with no effort.
