    It was interesting to see how ASUS(JJ works for ASUS) have designed their BIOS and what they recommend, but also how they take into account what most of the OC enthusiast do also.

    Also looks like, anyone who buys a 9900K chip, at some point in time, is going to have to upgrade their MB to get the BEST out of the 9900K ....which is what I thought anyhow.

    Again with the 9900K on a high end 390 board that can deliver the power, we have high temps. Delidding (and lapping) is a option to bring down the temps. I for one will stick with my average 8700K foe a year or so.

    Hello Andrew, welcome back from your holiday. Thanks for your ideas. I really don't know what I'm going to do, but nothing in the short term. I'll wait for some good reviews after they have been out for a while. I'm in no hurry to do anything, I'm perfectly happy with my old, slow and lazy 8700K.

    Well I always have my CPU delidded anyhow Andrew .....lapping I've never done. But I'm very interested in this chip
    I'm in no hurry, but I already know what MB I would get. Asus of course. Its between 2 models only. 1 model nobody is sure if Asus will make it... Apex XI . Just rumors right now.
