Yep, most of the PSU prices have been lowered at EVGA.

And what do ya know, according to one of the articles, Intel has finally put a solder based TIM on the 9900K
Yes they did but doesn't look like it helped much.

    Hi,
    Yeah 4c isn't much
Best part of the solder is people get to keep an Intel 3 year warranty intact

Good point, but I'd rather have cooler temps. It looks to run even hotter than I expected. For sure no 5 GHz on air as I suggested.
I think I may pass on this until they have a die shrink and offer saner pricing, instead of jacking them up, or move to AMD if they have a good offering.

My Ryzen at 4.25GHz is keeping up with 8700 all the way up to 4.9GHz. and stays cool. It just won't go higher than that and it's turbo speed on all cores.

Passmark Performance Test Benchmark - Page 48 - Windows 10 Forums

    Cinebench Benchmark - Page 9 - Windows 10 Forums
Some other ones are mostly for graphics and my GPU isn't exactly high range.

    Hi,
Yeah I don't buy into performance test 8-9 crap scoring method
It over exaggerates the m.2 over 2.5" ssd's way too much and 2D graphic's is a joke entry lol

Cinebench isn't a boarded benchmark easy to see why I missed that one :)

I use benchmarks only to see if I'm doing better or worse while setting up system and OCing. Also some kind of reliability test, they do put quite a load on. I don't know what you mean by "It over exaggerates the m.2 over 2.5" ssd's way too much" there's real advantage to them. If you mean in full test score, yeah, but not much raise in overall score. On the other hand, file system is important component.

    Hi,
Not that I've seen m.2 or 2.5" ssd the only difference is boot time
Any other benchmark m.2 makes no difference only in performance test does it show significant score boost/ disk score from reg ssd.
