I really want one of those 9900Ks, but I can't justify upgrading from my 7700K at the moment.

I just finally bought a replacement for the oldest part in my PC, the PSU. Managed to snag an EVGA 1000w G1+ 80 Gold for $100 lower than it's usual price. I'll finally have a modular PSU...five years after everyone else.

The difference between being 25 years old and still drinking(a whole lot), and 52 years old and not drinking:

    At 25, two Coors more

    VS:

    At 52, two cores more

So if your 68, you would need 8 cores more....maybe 16 cores??

I won't know what my prices will be for the binned and delidded chips until Nov 2nd. Which is where I will be getting mine.

Yep, most of the PSU prices have been lowered at EVGA.

And what do ya know, according to one of the articles, Intel has finally put a solder based TIM on the 9900K
