Just looking at the superposition numbers the 2080ti did beat mine and doorules titan's on water so why again do you thing he "eat crow"
Maybe he had a better titan sample but still he had nothing showing his better sample in that video.
He just stated the 2080ti wasn't 20-30% better than a titan but it is clearly better and not even on water

Did you watch the full video? He says it himself at the 14.35 mark of the video. His previous claim that the 2080 is really a TI and thus priced so high is because he expected the 2080 to be 25% faster than a 1080 ti. He's talking about games and the 2080 is on par with a 1080 ti, sometimes 7% or so faster, sometimes slower.


Yes RTX does well in some benchmarks, as he says great scaling in 3D mark but nowhere near realistic for gaming performance. I care about the game benchmarks. The synthetic benchmarks mean nothing to me, but are fun.

Well time spy both we also got the crap kicked out of us :)
So what ever floats your boat 2080ti looks like a killer to me any card can game.
Heck if it's fluid I could care a less how many fps it's doing
Slower the better i get killed less

What was more interesting is the statement 8700k was a bottle neck

As long as the 1080ti is less than the 2080 "which also looks pretty good" and again micro center must be still in gouging mode an open box ftw3 for 740.us lol it should be a good choice also depending on which version 1080ti FE design is crap :)

I’m debating going 1070 Ti to hold me over till Touring comes down in price and all the features are available. I’ve been happy with my RX580 for the little gaming I do so a 1070 Ti would be a huge leap forward. I’ve already got the entire 2700X build picked out or already here except for the graphics card. We’ll see when the time comes to buy it next month. I’m building primarily a workstation not a gaming rig. So a lot of the cash is going into Memory and fast storage.
