Hahah, typical Intel lies and cheats.

I used to to run Dual 1GHz+ P3 Coppermines @133MHz FSB on a BX440 chipset that was designed for single Celeron CPUs @ 66MHz FSB. No issues whatsoever. Sure it needed an adapter to reroute a few wire, but all that could have been rerouted in software too.

    Hi,
Been a frustrating road with slave bios on 1080ti ftw3 but this King|pin vbios workaround posted on evga forum fixed so at least it doesn't crash all the time
I had nothing to loose doing it the slave bios were pretty worthless the way they were,

Looks like Z370 boards already support 8 core CPU's. I used the AMIBCP BIOS utility to check the BIOS files of my two MSI motherboards.

G.Skill announced new RAM at Computex. I am quite impressed by the 4800Mhz models with CAS 17. That equates to 7ns true latency, which is almost double as fast, compared to most mainstream DDR4 memory at 13.5ns true latency.

When I build my next desktop with most likely a Ryzen CPU, I will definitely consider that RAM, since those CPUs love fast memory.

Then you can use all the features of the Ryzen DRAM calculator.
