Mike, you ran a little different sample than I did, but I have no idea what/if any, difference it makes. The transfer size is different.
I just run it at what defaults were, I'll try to match your settings next.
    PS.
Ah, I cant run with more than 64MB because you were testing your second drive which is 500GB, mine is only 250GB.

Applied Thermal paste in the Dell because the temps seemed off and they were. The factory thermal paste covered the whole CPU and glued it to the heatsink so when I pulled it out the CPU came out with it. Thankfully no pins were bent. 62c for a whole hour of blender. The stock thermal paste was total crap.

New Samsung NVMe Driver 3.0 is available. I have tested it and found the write performance to be lower than that of the 2.3 driver. I have reverted back to the 2.3 driver.
Better by a margin for me over 2.3 driver on 960 pro. YMMV I guess.

When doing benchmarks, are you guys monitoring frequencies and core(s) usage per core ?
I can't get CB15 and Performance test (just 2 examples) to push any cores to go as far as processor would allow in Turbo + power saving mode. If I leave everything on Auto and run those benchmarks it never boost to projected frequency (4.25 - 4.35GHz on this processor). Actually it doesn't even reach 4.225GHz that I can easily achieve by manual OC (100% stability). When manually OCed. all cores do stay at that frequency (of course) but I have a feeling that cores are not used to full potential and scores are not what they should be.

Better for me on my 950 as well. Not that you will ever notice the difference in windows but at least not a step backwards. :)

What's performance looking like with Win 10 1803? I've installed it and my favorite game seems a bit worse.

Shouldn't have anything to do with game performance. Changes if any are not enough to notice anywhere except maybe some benchmarks.

Hmm, maybe it is some misconfiguration then.
