I did the reset thing. Threw away all files. Reinstalled the game from backup, just played 4 maps with no errors. Not sure if all is well yet but that is more than I could play for the last few days without it crapping out.
Great, glad you got it working right.

For ASUS board owners(at least the Maximus X series) new software update:

    Version 1.05.14
    2018/02/01146.47 MBytes
    Dual Intelligent Processors 5

Fix compatibility issue with the latest Windows updates. Dual Intelligent Processors 5 update v1.05.14 patches an issue that resulted in the Windows power plan being forced to “balanced". Note that this patched build only includes the DIP5 utility, it does not include other utilities in AI Suite 3.
    - AI Suite 3 v3.00.13
    - Dual Intelligent Processors 5 v1.05.14

    One reminder:

If you have any custom fan profiles, that are set "just right" for you, copy them from C:\ProgramData\ASUS\DIP\FanXpert\Profiles to a safe place before the update, then copy them back after.

I have found anytime I update anything for AI Suite, I lose my custom profile, and need to also rerun Fan Tuning, so I do the above

Just switched to 3200MHz RAM. Corsair Vengance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16R will see what it can do.

I looked at MicroCenter's site a couple of weeks ago and thought, yea, I wouldn't be in the market for any video card right now. Last week I noticed they had a message in their video card prices like, "See store for final pricing." Now I see their prices look a little more reasonable (I might pay a little less than $1G for a 1080 Ti) and that no purchase for one can be made online. Appears MC is doing what they can to help the situation, and themselves.

    Hi,
3DMark's new update might want to pass on it
They made hardware monitoring a thing they will bug you about saying disabling it will void the wall of fame lol
I'm still on the wall of shame so
