I can't leave good enough alone. I ordered a Fractal Design Focus G Case, Asus ROG B350 Gaming motherboard, 240 AIO Cooler, and a 750W PSU for my Dell Ryzen rig that hasn't even arrived yet. I will transplant all the good parts shortly after it arrives. Being an enthusiast is fun. Boss buys you a high end Dell Gaming rig and your first thought it to butcher it for its high end parts and turn it into as custom build.

Don't you know the exact MB in that machine ? Which Asus ROG did you order ? If it's CH6, it may be too much and one like mine would be just as good if you don't plan on multiple GPUs but for much less money.

That might not be any better than what you have now. Did you find what it is ? If it has x370 chipset it's better than that one.

The stock Dell OEM motherboard is a B350 board with only 2 RAM slots and no overclocking options.

I did the reset thing. Threw away all files. Reinstalled the game from backup, just played 4 maps with no errors. Not sure if all is well yet but that is more than I could play for the last few days without it crapping out.
