It makes even worse problems on Ryzen systems. Even blue screens.
AI Suite seems to cause issues for a lot of people. I have been lucky, it doesn't change any BIOS settings or voltages and I can use it for monitoring or fan control. Once I ran the fan tuning I can control the fans no issues, but have went back to using the fan controller built in my case
A BIOS setting I have never noticed or seen, much less played with, but still an interesting article:
ACPI 2.0 Support - The Tech ARP BIOS Guide - Tech ARPIf enabled, ACPI support will be enabled on the motherboard chipset level. If the operating system supports ACPI, it can then use ACPI to configure the hardware, as well as control the system’s power management features.
If disabled, ACPI support will be disabled on the motherboard chipset level. Even if the operating system supports ACPI, it cannot use ACPI to configure the hardware or control its power management features.

It is recommended that you enable this BIOS feature. This allows an ACPI-compliant operating system to fully control the configuration of hardware devices and their power management.
Please note that for Microsoft Windows to run in ACPI mode, it needs to be installed with ACPI enabled in the BIOS. If you switch from ACPI to non-ACPI mode, or vice versa, Microsoft Windows will fail to boot. You need to reinstall Microsoft Windows everytime you switch modes.
