That site has also other useful information, so I recommend you scan through it.

Hint: When downloading a .BIO file from Intel, you can actually open that file using 7Zip and see all the different .efi files it contains. Each .efi has it's own purpose, some are drivers, others are some boot code etc... :)

I have a feeling that those two boards are exactly the same thing. But one is just rebranded.

Since I have dropped my OC to 4.7GHz, because it's getting warmer, and since I did the April update, I haven't had anything crash(even background stuff that has no effect on use) no yellow bangs, nothing, just my updates show the iunfo icon for the last nine days.

I have ran some benchmarks to test stability, not get high scores, and the system is running smotth as butter.
Even if I run Aida64 stress test with CPU & FPU selected, and at the same time, ran Heaven(ok not for too long, about 2 minutes just to see what happens, but it worked).

I am now satisfied with my hardware and system set up.
Plus as <I said this only since the April 2018 upgrade.

@Cliff S I also prefer 4.7GHz for daily use.:)

Since the day I got my Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard I noticed the CPU temperature in the BIOS was way to low, but I did not give I much thought as it did not cause any instability issues with my system. Browsing the MSI forum I found other owners with the same board complaining that the fans are not not running at full speed for the set temperature thresholds when the system is under full load.

I used HWiNFO64 and found that the fan speeds threshold temperature was out by 14°C when compared to the maximum temperature of the cores. A Beta BIOS was made available today to fix the issue.
