    It might be one of those undocumented changes(under the hood), microsoft does, when improving Windows, and working with the hardware OEMs(like Intel).

    Driver for mine is installed but no updates, I just enabled it ( again) thru command line, let me reboot it.

    I'm guessing default must be turned off in BIOS now, because if on in BIOS it's either available, or can be forced, but never turned of(when on in BIOS).
    So maybe ASUS default is off?

    From my BIOS setting I copied to .txt on a USB

    HPET force Enabled and score in PTest > CPU fell by 1000 points, forced it back off and score returned to normal level.

    With this MB, HPET has to be enabled in BIOS or program Ryzen Master would not work. Setting in windows don't affect it though.
