Do you mean no need to format and change from legacy bios to UEFI?
I mean do the above, before you make the change in BIOS to UEFI, and reinstall Windows.

Also, if you have more than one internal disk, unplug all but the system disk, and copy all your libraries data to an external drive, then when you are finished setting up your system drive, you can then format your other internal drives to UEFI, then put your libraries(music, documents...etc.) on your, and what ever else was on those disks.

Question not to state the Obvious but what happened to all the 1080Ti's on Newegg that page looks like a Ghost Town everything sold out from here to Mississippi

Bitcoin mining can't possibly have anything to do with this but i am sure someone out there will say it is so lol
Amazon is saying by Jan 18th they will have more Evga 1080Ti cards, and are taking orders now.

There’s a saying “one covers oneself according to the size of one’s quilt”

It was difficult enough stretching the quilt to get the CPU, CPU-cooler, RAM and Motherboard let alone more components

At some future date hopefully mate :)

I’m extremely disappointed with Amazon, I specifically paid £40-50 extra for the WI-FI version of ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO (WI-FI AC) and they sent me the non WI-FI version

Amazon is usually pretty good about this stuff, call them and get it straightened out.

The problem is everything is automated and Amazon apparently is not the seller, the seller is a company called ILGS and it all takes time to respond.

Just have to be patient, wait for their response and see what happens

    “Return requested
You have requested a return with a seller. If you haven’t heard from the seller within 2 working days, you may file a claim.”

Ya you really be careful before you make your purchase, Newegg does the same thing, and I won't buy it if the item is not from them.

No way to contact that seller ? Besides email ?

I just got my 3 pack of Thermaltake Riing Plus 14 fans, so now I can can replace the 3 clear riing 14 case fans and also put the 2 TT Riing Plus 14 fans on the Corsair H115i and all the fans will match and can be software controlled.

THe X299 will then be done for now lol
