The only new hardware I'll be doing in '18 is to add a PSU shroud from Savant PCs and Chromax black the fans (never had a problem with the classic Noctua colors but do want a black scheme throughout.) Some of the Noctua stuff came today in the mail and the fans are scheduled to be here Friday. Don't have any idea when Savant will get the shroud made, still in Queue status for now.

Question not to state the Obvious but what happened to all the 1080Ti's on Newegg that page looks like a Ghost Town everything sold out from here to Mississippi

Bitcoin mining can't possibly have anything to do with this but i am sure someone out there will say it is so lol

Same thing here LOL, the 1080 Ti is dead

    EVGA - Products - Graphics - GeForce 10 Series Family - GTX 1080 Ti

And for some reason, every PSU says Auto-Notify

Should get the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO (WI-FI AC) today or tomorrow

Going to format my legacy bios hard disk, change it to UEFI and re-install everything preparing for the transition to the new system

Anything I should be aware of other than just booting from the old hard disk?

While there’s still time to prepare, thanks

Make you have copies of any software licenses written down or in a file on OneDrive.

You might want to also make sure You leave your video card at OOB (for at Windows start up, I mean)default settings, and not set the overclock to run at boot, until your system disk is in the new system, and then set the overclocks. Same with Windows power options.

If the Windows default drivers work well enough, no need to update until you get your new system put together, as you will be redoing then anyhow. With the exception of the ones for your video card.

Do you mean no need to format and change from legacy bios to UEFI?
