That`s exactly right Mike, the board partners aren`t allowed to change them, that`s why you`ll only see a board partner have them (if they have any) when the card 1st goes on sale. They figure, why bother.

The last time, as far as I know, there was a difference, was when they released the 980 Ti Superclocked version, such as the cards I have in my Z170 build.

Back before nVidia labeled them Founder`s Edition.

Whether they came from nVidia like that, I have no idea. Never had to ask EVGA about that.

I should be able to get the card I want by the end of this month....I think....if not in Dec for sure, they only release a very small amount and are all sold out within mins lately.

I wouldn`t waste your money, your 1080 Ti`s are fine.

Yes and they have done very well for me, but these darn 2080Ti's are beating all my scores...LoL I'm only going to get one....
