According to the package tracking my case cables and RGB bling will be here today.
I've started ripping the In Win 303 apart and sorting stuff (parts & screws).
Until I get everything rebuilt, I'll be using my off the shelf Lenovo H530 with 2 cores and no hyper threading.
Amazingly the H530 runs VMs pretty well, but only one at a time of course.

    All done tearing everything out.

I had a scary moment though, and though I lost a tiny screw(for the HDD to the case's disk sled) inside of my HDD.
I looked and gently rocked it back and forth(for a while) but saw and heard nothing.

I was thinking "Oh sh!t" the screw is somehow jammed up on the disks PCB on an SMB or something, and is going to short if I give it power"

Then I went an smoked one(nicotine helps the thinking process), and thought to wipe my hands around the carpet, maybe it fell and I didn't see or hear it.

Did the hand search and found it!

Now just waiting for the new case to get here.

Don't think I would or have ever did a rebuild on a room with carpet Cliff. I use my kitchen actually, with a piece of cardboard under rig. If I drop something on floor its very easy to see and find. Carpet is a no no ...for me.

Yeah, carpet knows when and what to hide. Only a clink and clonk thru vacuum cleaner tube finds it. I also peek a magnet from a large speaker tied with a string, that usually finds iron objects.

On a carpet things like screws don't roll/bounce away as far

An as far as static is concerned, I wear my static proof steel toe safety shoes from work.

Nice thing about tearing my old build apart early today, is I was able to thoroughly clean out everything.

After I build this one, I might rebuild my 6700K/GTX 1080 system back into the old case(maybe delid the 6700K first).

interesting also was my de8auer 8700K that has a nickle plated IHS, looked like new after cleaning off the year old Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. The heatsink on my AIO had a light stain, but the CPU looks just like the day I received it.

Winter's coming, will have a lot of time then. I'm presently working on s customizing my Raidmax case. Some red reflecting tape and voltage displays (red LED) and now looking to make some lights to light up front USB2 and 3 ports installed at the front of the case. Normal ones are installed at the top of the case so I have to get up every time to get to them as case is up on the desk.

sorry, I don't own a camera, a cell phone, or a smart phone.

I'll need to wait until someone that does comes over and takes some pics and uploads them to me.

All i have is a webcam and for photos, it sucks.
