Just found the new update for my ASUS board today Al Suite III 3.00.13 just released today for me. So I d/l it and let it run, Thank goodness I made a image backup 1st. It messed up my settings for water pump and CPU fan controls pretty dam good!!! Also slowed down my cpu from where I had it set @49G's ....completely turned OFF my water pump!!! What a piece of crap!! Tried it once before long time ago, didn't like it then either, but this new release is even worse.

Well that sucks. I haven't had that problem yet with installing it.
My only problem is the xpert software(and BIOS) won't let me slow my fans down to a point lower than what they decide should be the minimum.
AI Suite 3 issue, the system cannot find the file specified. - Page 4 - Windows 10 Forums raed through to post #39.

MSI's Command Center(and BIOS) has much better user fan control.

It actually turned OFF my water pump Cliff, and I had noway to turn it back on. Turned my CPU fan way to low, and cpu started heating up. Changed all my settings in my bios of course too. Oh well just wanted to try it out, and see if it was better than the last time I installed it. This is on my older Asus MB, maybe it works better on the 300 series.

All I know, if any software did that to me, I would never-ever-ever use it again.
I already have a small list of software, and Windows apps, that are banned from all my systems, because they worked well, but became buggy with every update on one of my systems.

This was only my 2nd time trying it out, just to see if was improved at all. Maybe it works better on the new boards. I have not bought my MB yet from ASUS, waiting to see if the ASUS Z390 MB comes out in the next few months. If not then I will get the ASUS ROG Maximus X Apex, sameone Steve has. :)

AI Suite worked really great on the Z77 platform, but they have changed it a lot. It hasn't worked well since. The Fan Tuning program ran my 4.8 OC Vcore to 1.5xx V. It hasn't seen the light of day on my system since. How the heck can a fan tuning program mess with Vcore?

It changed all my settings in my bios Steve, for the worse too. That's it for me, never will install it again.
