    1. Who is this Chillblast company? Has anyone ever heard of them?

    2. I might buy a HIGH-END computer from a specialty company like this. At the high-end they might offer a product and a price that you might not find elsewhere. But for a midrange desktop like this I'd buy from one of the main-line companies: Dell, Asus, HP, etc.

    3. They claim this is a gaming PC, but its specs are pretty low. But maybe you don't do any gaming?

Chillblast have a very good reputation here in the UK....good value especially with 5 year guarantee included....plus upgradable.

Cannot comment on AMD processor not having experienced....nevertheless up to 4.1 GHz is pretty impressive.

margrave65 we are talking silly prices for a half decent gaming pc, budget won't stretch that far ,and i could not justify spending such a huge ammount

Nothing wrong with Chillblast however looking at your specs you have an i7? which may well be better than the AMD chip. Suggest providing the full specs before effectively buying a downgrade! the Processor is lower down passmarks list than an AMD Athlon X4

So what i7 do you currently have?

The clock speed isn't important. The PassMark rating on that CPU is only in the 5000 range. (In contrast the i7-7700K at the same 4.1 GHz clock gets a 12000 PassMark rating.)

So not impressive at all, which is why I question the "gaming" adjective in its description.
But at the price quoted it's decent.

The Passmark listings may be Ok for a comparison, but I have never had a CPU that didn't beat the passmark "rating" by quite a lot. I have often thought that their ratings are a price/performance ranking, which is OK if they would say so. Everyone isn't looking for price/performance. Personally I would like to see a simple performance ranking, and I don't believe Passmark is it. Just my opinion.
