Motherboard Fault

Magnetic Levitation sound like a Houdini trick.

Got my new Motherboard (Amazon is great a fast deliveries) and all swapped over........Still the same

Nothing for it so I ripped the CPU out delidded it again (x4) running very low of LM. Examined it intimately closely while it was naked. Strong LED lights and a strong magnifying glass (I could see the electrons whizzing about with this setup) and found contamination on the pads.

So took advantage of her and washed her with acetone (to remove some of the glue from previous deliddings) and to remove the unknown substance found on her pads. Then a relaxing scrub with TIM remover and a gentle bathing of purifier. A soft dabbing down and finished with a ward sensual air drying. She was Gleaming....

We have success and a fully working gaming rig.

(Can I ask, what is LM? )

Liquid Metal ?? He's running low from delidding so much since he didn't do it right the first time.

Was in a rush when doing new fans and rushed the CPU re-de-lidding I never cleaned the delidding tool which got dirty from my finger the last time I used it (Best guess). My fault for not keeping a clean Lab.

The pads looked discolored and dull with a hazy film across them

This case does not have external access, front 5 1/4 front bays.

I need them to install my DVD/Bluray players and my Hot Swap hardware. I want to access things without opening my case or using a bunch of USB hang on's.

I know most of today's cases are the clean look with a front panel that has no external access 5 1/4 bays.
Not needing internal 5 1/4 bays allows me to remove them for better air flow.

In fact, the whole case is put together with screws and not rivets. It's easily configured however you want.
