Internet connection turns off every day
Every day my internet stops working for Internet explorer and Chrome. Firefox works fine because I have it set to auto-detect settings.
To fix this, I have to first click win+R, and then type "regedit" and open. Then go here - Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel - and open the "Connection Settings" file. Then change the "Value Data" to 0 and click ok.
I do the above in order to be able to access "Lan Settings" in Internet Options, because otherwise Lan Settings is grayed out and can't be clicked.
Then I right-click on Internet Explorer and Run as Administrator. Then I click the wheel in the right, select Internet Options, navigate to Connections, click on Lan Settings, tick the Automatically Detect Settings option, and click ok.
Now internet works again. Do I have to continue to do this every day? Can't I do it and have it stick. Can my internet stay connected and work between lap top restarts and shut downs please?
p.s it seems to me that Internet Explorer and Chrome pull their connectivity settings from Internet Options, so they stop working because Windows 10 is a piece of crap. But Firefox being my best loving browser has its own connectivity situation going on, so it circumvents Windows Interent Options, therefore it works flawlessly.
But, Microsoft is not exactly Mozilla. So I can't expect Microsoft to do it well. So I must find some magical way to fix this so annoying problem. Can anyone help?
Thank you
