    Slower speeds with windows 10?

    Hello,

My speeds before on speedtest were about 130 mbps. After just installing windows 10 I am getting a max of about 90. Any fix for this? What is the problem?

It's probably the fact that a billion people are installing windows and doing speed tests... you might wait a few days to see if it's just overloaded servers.

I think it's the reserverd brandwith. Windows 10 introduced this feature for downloading updates, and other system tasks.

This shall do. Seems like 8 and 7 had it too, but I heard this was increased in 10.

That setting only affects QoS aware applications. QoS (Quality of Service) is used to ensure QoS aware applications get a minimal amount of bandwidth when they're being used.

In other words, unless Windows Update or other QoS aware apps are actually reserving bandwidth (ie doing something) then this won't affect anything else.

I know it usually does not make any diffrence as the bandwith is only limited when needed, but as this is the first day of Windows 10, users may have to download security, and day-one patches, whichmakes the limit active.
