I have tried Linux, and the wifi works just fine. On windows 10 however, I always see a Red X mark by the wifi. I've installed the driver, tried driver softwares. It's driving me crazy. What could it be? Any ideas?
Get the correct driver from HP and install it.
I presume it worked when you bought it. So use the recovery procedure to get back to factory installed state.
Yes, I've installed the driver from HP several times already. Straight from their website. This laptop did not come preloaded with Windows 10. It had windows 8.1. I want to use windows 10 on this laptop, but I also want the wifi to work. If it works in linux, why wouldn't it work in windows?
