I have problem with network sharing from one of my computer i my Homenetwork.
With Ipconfig /all I found that NetBIOS over tcpip is disabled the on network adapter even if enabled in WINS properties and Regedit.
Is there a way to enable it or another solution to solve my problem.

Have you checked the UEFI settings for your network card? Assuming it's the onboard one there may be an option to enable or disable it there.
Hmm, do you have the latest available driver for the NIC? Should be available from the MSI website.

I had the latest driver before the problem started with file sharing. Now i have an older from late 2016 but it was same problem before i did re installation of the older driver.
So the up to date driver was working fine, then you started having issues with file sharing? Or File sharing never worked on the up to date driver?
If it's the former, it would be a setting change or something on your system. If it was the latter then it could be NIC specific.

It was after my last windows update the problem started...about two weeks ago.
If you Got the settings for the network card is NetBIOS there if not can you add it
I know this is an old thread but I just went through many hours of no joy in trying to get NetBIOS enabled again. In the NIC properties it was enabled, but ipconfig /all showed disabled. And it was NOT working - I could not get this system to be seen or shares accessed on the network. I jumped though a lot of hoops with the registry and NetBT, WMIC, uninstalling NIC, trying different NIC, updating drivers, BIOS etc....was ready to restore the last backup from over 3 months ago and copy over current folders, (I know...).
Then it dawned on me - the old days of Windows 95 through XP... one way to 'fix' issues like this was to remove the Client for MS networks, File and Print sharing..., and both IPv4 and iPv6.. also the MS LLDP protocol from the NIC properties, (just uncheck the boxes, close and reboot) after booting re-check the boxes again.... WHAT A PAIN... was my last breath on this one... thought what the hell, why not?
I have my NetBIOS back... that simple idea of removing the components in the NIC properties and adding again... I wanted to post this 'somewhere'... all the threads I have read are too old or closed.... I hope this helps someone... a voice from the past came to me... the simple solution so common then...
