    The usual private number is 192.168.x.x

    Type ipconfig in command window and copy and paste your result here.
    Or type ipconfig /all to reveal the state of all interfaces.

    Just to confirm what you said. In address bar of browser, type 192.168.1.1, and enter...

    I used to have some Netgear router. Its default IP was 192.168.0.1. So try with a zero in the third octet.

    Can you ping it?

    command prompt:




    C:\Users\dhubb\Desktop>ping 192.168.1.1
