    The Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller adapter is experiencing


    My ethernet conection is not working ;-( When I troubleshoot I get this: the Broadcom NeXtreme 57xx Gigabit controller adapter is experiencing driver-or hardware-related problems.

    Is this something I can fix???

    Windows 10 Pro Dell optiplex 745 desktop computer.

    Welcome to the forum. Not a help error message goto Dells site enter your tag number and see if there is an updated driver or firmwware

    update


    Now i'm getting this "Problems found" message as well: There might be a problem with the driver for the Ethernet 2 adapter



    I'm on Dell's website downloading a few things. Hoping it helps


    Hmm interesting. Looks like I'm downloading for Windows XP. I just realized that. Doesn't even have Windows 10 on here.

    Can someone please send me a link for the Driver I'm supposed to download for this desktop Dell optiplex 745 with windows 10 Home 64 bit system. Iv'e tried so many with no luck ;-(

    Have you tried the latest one from the MS Catalog ?
    x64 is the second one of the 4/10/2015 - 17.2.0.0 - 1.4MB

    You will have to extract the cab file with winzip or winrar and see if there is an install program How To Extract Compressed Files From the Cabinet File (.cab) without software Windows 8 - YouTube

    I had to reninstall Windows 10 but that did the trick ;-) Now the computer is up and running well ;-) And the ethernet connection works again!

    P.S. I didn't have anything on this machine worth keeping.
