Creators Update One machine can't see the other

I have Windows 10 Pro Creator's Update (version 1703, build 15063.413) running on two computers (wired through ASUS router). I've setup a workgroup called WORKGROUP. If I turn on one computer (call it A) and then turn on computer B, computer A can view computer B's folders, printer, etc. Computer A does not appear to be on the network from computer B. But I can ping computer A without a problem. Everything worked properly before the upgrades. And yes I performed a network reset on both machines and nothing changed. Is this situation related to the buggy network browser in creator's update? And is there anything I can do to remedy the situation?

As you can see from many posts here, there is a bug in the Creators Update. One temporary fix is to enter in the File Explorer Network address line the other computer's UNC name (\\ComputerB). The computer should then show up. Unfortunately, that would probably have to be done after each reboot.

I have had this issue since installing V1703 on a Pro box joined to a domain network and no matter what I do it will not be accessible from other machines. This really needs fixing!
