I haven't installed the creator's update yet, but this problem seems to have solved itself a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what the solution was, but none of the things we tried in this thread worked.

Mark this solved. Updates can make things work, whether it was for the OS or a third party security software.

I had a similar issue with the latest version of Windows 10 (20H2). After a cold restart or even a resume from sleep/hibernation, the desktop would be up and running but the wireless would take up to 5 minutes to get Internet access (it connects but doesn't see the Internet or doesn't connect at all) after a cold reboot or about 1 minute after a resume from hibernation or sleep.

To fix the issue, I simply made sure to keep my hosts file as clean as possible (c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts).The problem, in my case, was caused by my decision to insert the well-known StevenBlack ad hosts information into the file. While it was effective in blocking ad sites, it also caused the long delay. My hosts is now down to the following (and it works as it should):

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain
127.0.0.1 local
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1 localhost
::1 ip6-localhost
::1 ip6-loopback
fe80::1%lo0 localhost

It seems like this problem has come back again. There's no internet when i start my computer, and i have to repair my wireless connection everytime i load windows to get access to the internet. I'm getting a bit sick and tired of it.
