Reset Edge

We have a tutorial on this, with a small PowerShell script that needs to be downloaded. Since you can't download, you can create the script and run it. Here's the tutorial; you can view it on the XP system:

I am having trouble uninstalling Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox refuses to uninstall (I tell it to and it acts like it is going away but it never leaves; stayed there acting like leaving for hours). I have tried to remove it 4 times.

Before we dumped several items, I used Avast. For back up I use Google Chrome which I really do not like. When using chrome, I go to google.com to avoid its tracking.

I think I ran reset edge, it did not come up like your example but all of the names were correct and I got it on to and ran it from the desktop.

We just wanted to reset Firefox (and all your other browsers), not uninstall it. Is there a reason you want to uninstall it?

For the record, I have always solved network problems by disabling all the network optimizing features.
So unless you need network sharing or something, just remove all network protocols and disable IPv6.
It sure made my WiFi connection rock solid, setting up a custom DNS and a static IP as well. Like this:
