    Network Connections folder empty

    HP g6 laptop
Had many problems with this laptop.
Customer had at least 3 AV programs. Deleted all. (Including 3 Variations of AVG.)
Finally got to where I can boot to Desktop, everything looks normal.
    Except no internet.
    Network Connections folder is empty.
In Device Manager, have the Ralink RT3290 Wifi Adapter and Realtec PCIe.
I have tried all the known Registry fixes:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network" has no Config. Has only "Default" and Filter Class" keys.
    "HKCR\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f" is missing.
Cannot use System Restore, doesn't open.

Sounds like it is pretty messed up. Why don't you try a repair install?

    When does that show up?
Got some system specs on it?

If these are the specs, it most certainly can run W10. That's a 2nd gen i3 with Intel 3000 integrated graphics and the graphics drivers come through Windows Update.

Perhaps a clean install is in order?

I have an old 2005/2006 AMD-based laptop and I've got 10 running on it no problem.
